Detailed biography 8* Noam Bonnand

My musical style and my influences

Always a little bit difficult to describe my own creation, the others make it sometimes better than me, but so sometimes less good. I consider me as a composermodern romantic. My music is at the same time tonal and modal, with mostly, a free form. Thelyricism, and the expressiveness are very important for me. The writing for only piano rest at the moment my preference.

My music has baroque, classic influences, romantic, with a small dose modal of east, Asia and Russia. A small dose of jazz also, in particular in the second album "the sound of life". I have a profound admiration for certain aspects of the music of Scarlatti, of Schumann, and of Chopin

I am used to working so a lot the general form of an album and the way every piece is connected to the others. The form of a piece which is inside another piece, or inside group of pieces, little as a Russian doll.
